About the Role
The Directorate: Human Resource Administration is seeking a dynamic Human Resource Practitioner to manage recruitment and selection processes, provide HR advisory services, support transformation initiatives, and ensure compliance with HR legislation and policies.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- National Diploma in Human Resource Management (NQF 6)
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Recruitment and Selection environment

Responsibilities
Recruitment & Selection Administration
- Advertise vacant and funded posts
- Ensure all required documents (job descriptions, equity targets, Post Form) are attached before advertising
- Draft job advertisements aligned with approved profiles
- Submit drafts for sign-off and forward to advertising section
- Provide advisory services on recruitment and selection policies
Shortlisting & Interview Processes
- Arrange and coordinate shortlisting and interviews
- Provide technical support and advisory during processes
- Draft appointment submissions
- Conduct personnel suitability checks for recommended candidates
- Issue appointment and regret letters
HR Advisory & Support
- Respond to HR enquiries
- Provide inputs and interpretations on HR policies, legislation, and directives
- Represent the unit in departmental transformation forums
- Provide assistance during recruitment information sessions
Policy Development & Compliance
- Support amendments to recruitment policies and procedures
- Draft responses to line units to promote correct HR practices
- Ensure adherence to recruitment and selection prescripts
Data & Reporting
- Maintain databases on vacancy filling
- Monitor vacancy rates and turnaround times
- Provide statistical reports on recruitment and selection
- Update and control all R&S databases
