Position Overview

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) invites qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the role of Administration Clerk (Level 05). This opportunity is based at the Head Office Pretoria. The ideal candidate will perform diverse administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of office functions and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Transport Services:
Manage and coordinate transportation needs, process transport requests, maintain accurate records, and optimize the use of transport resources.

Human Resource Administration:
Provide HR support by maintaining employee records, processing leave applications, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding procedures.

General Administrative Support:
Handle correspondence, maintain organized filing systems, manage telephone and email inquiries, and assist various departments with administrative needs.

Provisioning Services:
Oversee procurement processes, including ordering and issuing supplies, while ensuring adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

Compliance:
Ensure all financial and administrative practices align with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and other relevant legislative requirements.


Minimum Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: Senior Certificate (Matric).
  • Experience: 0-1 year of relevant administrative experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Additional Advantage: A valid driver’s license.

  1. Pre-Employment Screening:

  2. Foreign Qualifications:
    Must be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) before the selection process.
