About the Role:
Lancet Laboratories is seeking a qualified and dedicated Courier to join the team in KZN – PMB Eden Garden. The role involves ensuring the safe, timely collection and delivery of goods, specimens, and shuttle services while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan delivery and collection routes based on moxes and task requirements.
- Conduct safe and timely deliveries and collections to ensure client satisfaction.
- Complete proof-of-delivery documentation to maintain accurate tracking records.
- Scan specimens and results into the Courier Management Programme for traceability.
- Maintain and report on Lancet assets, including vehicles, petrol cards, and equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations by utilizing protective wear.
- Report incidents and accidents to management for timely insurance claims processing.
- Keep vehicles clean and report any spills of hazardous materials to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferred Qualification: Grade 12 or relevant NQF Level 4.
- Minimum Requirement: Grade 10 with 2–3 years of relevant working experience or at least 10 years of courier experience.
- Valid driver’s license.

- Knowledge of safe driving practices and health & safety compliance.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Compliance with Lancet’s vaccination policy, including full vaccination status and booster shots as needed.
