The role involves coordinating and managing all Training & Development operations at the Technical Training center within the Fertilizer industry. The primary objective is to facilitate the implementation of employee training and development initiatives to enhance individual and team performance, in line with the world-class manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with a focus on Mathematics
  • Desirable: Basic understanding of Training and Development

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing sector

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining comprehensive records of employee training and development
  • Providing administrative support for organizational development and employee training needs
  • Ensuring continuous follow-up with training participants to meet training requirements
  • Managing logistical and administrative aspects for flawless delivery of Training Courses/Events
  • Planning, coordinating, and reporting on Training & Development activities
  • Coordinating all training interventions
  • Ensuring compliance with Training, HR & Labour Law legislative requirements, including WSP-ATR, EE, and BBBEE Reporting
  • Assisting with BBBEE audits and applications for Grants at relevant SETA
  • Managing training audits such as DTI skills audit and ISO audits
  • Compiling information for the 12H Learnership tax rebate submission
  • Overseeing program coordination and technical skills administration
  • Generating monthly reports on training and development statistics
  • Maintaining HR systems and ensuring document control within the Matrix Learning Management System
  • Overseeing building maintenance
  • Taking minutes during meetings
  • Creating Purchase Orders and Stores Requisitions
  • Managing budget requirements and adhering to allocated budget
