The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is inviting suitably qualified applicants to apply for its Grants Administrator vacancies for 2025. These positions are based in the Northern Cape Province, and successful candidates will be responsible for administering social grant applications at local office level.

Salary: R228,321 – R268,950 per annum (excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
- Relevant National Diploma / Degree (NQF Level 6 or 7)
- Computer literacy is essential
Added Advantage:
- A valid driver’s licence
- Administrative or clerical experience
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Grants Administrator, you will:
- Assist in the administration of social grants at local office level
- Screen all grant applications effectively
- Capture applications on the SASSA system
- Provide customer care and support services
- Conduct off-site grant application processes
- Perform quality control on grant documents
- Ensure compliance with Section 57 of the PFMA (Public Finance Management Act, Chapter 6, Part 3)
