Requirements:
Generic:
- Display competency in post-specific duties.
- Proficiency in at least two official languages, including English.
- South African citizenship.
- No criminal record or pending cases.
- Undergo vetting, including security screening.
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) is preferred but not mandatory for Salary Level 2.
Additional:
- Grade 10 is advantageous.
- Ability to operate basic equipment and machinery.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
Core Functions:
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness within and around the DPCI premises.
- Perform tasks such as:
- Dusting and polishing furniture and floors.
- Removing refuse.
- Mopping tiled floors.
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and utensils.
- Safekeeping and handling of cleaning materials.
