| Job Description | An exciting position exists within our baking division for a Cashier, the position will be based in Mafikeng. The purpose of this role is to receive cash from drivers and to make up bank, ensuring that it balances daily and processing cash to the system. |
| Minimum Requirements | Grade 12 2 years cashiers/banking experience as well as general office experience Computer literate Logical thinking Analytical thinking Lead with integrity |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Receive and recount cash from drivers Process payment against the correct driver as per receipt Make up bank, ensuring that it balances daily Record cash and cheques in cash-up summary Prepare deposit for bank Record seal numbers in register Keep the cash office door locked at all times No unauthorized person allowed Lock cash in safe overnight Previous days taking to be removed from premises on a timely manner Keep cash shortages to a minimum |
