Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • At least 1 year of experience in an immigration environment
  • Computer literacy
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Ability to work shifts and irregular hours

Main Responsibilities

  • Process arriving and departing travellers
  • Verify travel documentation
  • Conduct immigration inspections and investigations
  • Monitor visa and permit compliance
  • Issue notices and fines where required
  • Assist with refugee and asylum-related matters
  • Trace undocumented persons
  • Support lawful detention and deportation processes
  • Compile reports and enforcement documentation
