POST: Food Service Aid

LOCATION: SAPS Academy Philippi, Division: Human Resource Development, Western Cape
LEVEL OF REMUNERATION: R138 486 per annum

Generic Requirements:

Applicants must display competency in the post-specific core functions of the post.
Must be fluent in at least two official languages (one must be English).
Must be a South African Citizen.
Must have no previous criminal or departmental convictions, or any cases pending.
Subject to vetting processes, including security screening and fingerprint verification.

Additional Requirements:

A Grade 10 qualification will serve as an advantage.
Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to operate elementary machines and equipment.
Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Core Functions:

Prepare and serve refreshments.
Render food service support functions.
Prepare meals and clean equipment.
Prepare dining halls.
Ensure a clean and hygienic working environment.

Appointments will be made under the Public Service Act, 1994.
Retired persons (severance/early retirement/medical), or persons with prior convictions, are not eligible.
