
POST: Food Service Aid
LOCATION: SAPS Academy Philippi, Division: Human Resource Development, Western Cape
LEVEL OF REMUNERATION: R138 486 per annum

Generic Requirements:
- Applicants must display competency in the post-specific core functions of the post.
- Must be fluent in at least two official languages (one must be English).
- Must be a South African Citizen.
- Must have no previous criminal or departmental convictions, or any cases pending.
- Subject to vetting processes, including security screening and fingerprint verification.
Additional Requirements:
- A Grade 10 qualification will serve as an advantage.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to operate elementary machines and equipment.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
Core Functions:
- Prepare and serve refreshments.
- Render food service support functions.
- Prepare meals and clean equipment.
- Prepare dining halls.
- Ensure a clean and hygienic working environment.
