| Minimum Requirements | Computer literate, proficient in Excel, Outlook, Work and Software systemsOrganized and systems orientated.Ability to work under pressure.Knowledge of industrial parts, tools and equipmentKnowledge of general industrial stockroom practices and proceduresGrade 12.Minimum 2 years relevant experience |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Check parts catalogue for proper part identificationContact vendors to obtain quotes and pricesPrepare parts requisition Issue purchase order numbersIssue purchase order numbersReceive shipments from vendorsCheck vendor packing slips/invoices for accuracyEnter receipts and distribution of parts/supplies into computerIssue replacement parts to maintenance departmentAssist maintenance department in choice of partsReceive and complete all job cardsDo oil and lubrication stock sheet and balanceAssist Depots with parts and consumables neededConduct periodic stock takesReplenish stock as shipments arrive |
