About the Learnership

Vodacom, in partnership with the e-waste management industry, is offering a learnership programme that provides hands-on training, mentorship, and theoretical knowledge for young people interested in environmental careers—particularly in the recycling and safe disposal of electronic waste.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be 18 to 35 years old
  • Have a Matric certificate with Maths or Maths Literacy and Science
  • Be from a disadvantaged background
  • Be currently unemployed and not enrolled in any learnership or academic programme
  • Be a South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Reside in Gauteng Province (proof of residence required)
  • Have basic computer skills and be proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Be self-motivated and a team player
