Programme Purpose
Transnet seeks dynamic, recently qualified graduates to join a two-year structured internship that offers practical workplace experience and career development in the heritage and humanities sectors.
Position Outputs
As a Young Professional-in-Training, your responsibilities will include:
- Shadowing staff and participating in workshops and meetings
- Supporting procurement and communication processes
- Assisting with research, administrative tasks, and project deliverables
- Serving as a point of contact for both suppliers and internal customers
- Providing regular progress updates and addressing queries timeously
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree or National Diploma in:
- Heritage Studies
- Fine Art
- History
- Curatorship
- Visual Studies
- Other related Humanities disciplines
- 0–1 year of work experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- South African youth under the age of 35 will be given preference
