About the Internship Programme
Impala Platinum is offering a 24-month structured internship to Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy graduates, designed to provide practical exposure to the Platinum Group Metals (PGM) industry. Interns will rotate through operational areas such as Concentrator Operations, Smelting Operations, PMR, and BMR, gaining insight into technical, safety, and managerial aspects of engineering in a mining production environment.
Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy
- In-depth knowledge of engineering or metallurgical principles
- Medically fit for operational environments
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a structured 24-month internship programme
- Attend all required training and development interventions
- Submit progress and training reports
- Provide technical support to help operational areas meet production and business targets
