SiBanye Stillwater Academy invites young dynamics of their local communities, interested in participating in a mining apprenticeship to apply
Sub-payment – Certificate of the Hard Rock Subcredge (Level 3 NQF)
Students acquire that this note will have the skills needed to monitor the safe and effective sanding of mining activities associated with an underground environment.
A limited number of learning benefits to employees will be awarded for a full-time study opportunity in accordance with the operational requirements of Operation Drefontein SiBanye-Stillwater.
Prealification, application verification and psychometric assessment will be part of the selection process.
All candidates will be subject to customs clearance of South African police services, in accordance with the National Explosives Act.
The selected candidates will be invited to attend an interview with a panel and a psychometric assessment.
The successful candidates will be informed in writing by the SSA administration, while candidates who do not receive any response to their appointments, may consider their learning demand.
The preference will be given to the requirements of HDSA and certain requirements can be relaxed for applicants, because SiBanye-Stillwater is committed to the realization and maintenance of diversity and equity in employment.
The named person must:
After one year or a minimal equivalent education certificate, with math and pure communication in English, in order to be accepted in the explosion program certificate.
Reach a psychometric result of 3 or more
To be declared medically adapted to the position and the environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the SiBanye Health Center in question
Advantageous requirements:
Candidates with pure and English mathematics in the 12th year.
Candidates with the greatest aggregation of pure mathematics in Grade 12
Candidates who reach a psychometric result of 4 or more
