Job DescriptionRCL FOODS is on the hunt for an HR Practitioner to join our Foods Division. This role will be based in Mpumalanga, Malelane, and report to the HR Business Partner. The successful incumbent will need to have the drive, energy, and technical ability to efficiently manage and influence a fast-paced environment that spans across the country. This individual must have strong knowledge of HR principles and practices with the ability to practice judgment, forward-thinking, and strategy to solve problems and develop transformational HR initiatives quickly.
Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other relevant qualification
Valid Driver’s License & willing to travel
Minimum of 3- 5 years of HR Generalist Experience
Sound knowledge of HR practices and principles
Sound knowledge of Labour Legislation.
CCMA experience (including the arbitration process) would be advantageous
SAP experience would be advantageous
Intermediate excel experience
Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and conflict-resolution skills
Must be able to plan ahead and manage time
Must be proactive and deadline driven
Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdvise line management on effective Human Resource Management.
Provide employee relations advice to line managers regarding disciplinary cases and grievance processes.
Review practices to ensure statutory compliance and regularly provide guidance to line managers.
Participate in consultations with organized labor.
Build strong social partnerships with the recognized unions and their officials.
Coordinate the Recruitment Processes in line with Company policy.
Analyze the skills and qualities required for each particular job and develop job profiles.
Coordinate planned and unplanned OD initiatives.
Coordinate the performance appraisal process.
Partner with the Learning team to optimize learning opportunities in the business
Help build a high-performance culture in the business
Ensure statutory compliance with EE Act, BCEA, LRA, SDA, and OHS Act
Drive RCL EE policy and targets
Coordinate and record EE quarterly meetings.
Drive the succession planning for the site/region and support the Talent & Organisational Review process.
Ensure organizational structures are kept up to date.
Coordinate terminations and exit interviews. 
Ensure the accurate capturing of HR information and data into SAP and assure the integrity of the data.
Effectively and timeously resolve employee queries.
Provide monthly HR Reports to assist line managers with decision-making.
